Grainger (GWW) shares rise 8% on strong 1Q results

Grainger saw strength across most regions with 4% revenue growth due to good volume, and higher prices along with acquisitions.  The U.S. and Canada, which comprise almost 90% of sales, saw good growth despite having one less selling day in the quarter and the effects of the sequestration.  The company sells about 15% of its U.S. sales to the government.  Revenue growth guidance increased to 5-9% for 2013.  The stock hit an all time high on the positive news.
